It's all pretty simple to use TweeterScope to locate and use the variety of third party apps included in the software. You just click on any site in the list to the left, and you're there.
But we'll show you how to add sites if new ones come around, modify sites if they change location, delete sites that aren't working anymore, or even to add your own Twitter Home page so you never have to open a browser window to Tweet again.
But first things first . . .
The Registration Form will open when you first launch the software.
Fill in the form with information we can easily recognize you with:
- Full Name: is the person or company registering the software.
- Email Address: must be a legitimate email so you can get your license code back.
- Payment Email Address: must be the email address used at time of purchase (i.e. PayPal email address).
- Payment Transaction #: is the Transaction ID sent to you on your PayPal receipt.
- License: Leave this blank for now. You'll be filling it in later.
When you have finished filling in the form, Click Save.
Within 24 hours, you'll get a license code in your email box. Copy it exactly (no spaces before or after).
Click on the Tweetie Bird in the top left corner, and paste the code into the License Code box. Save it.
Close TweeterScope then reopen it. You should see "Licensed to: Your Name" in the top right corner.
NOTE: If for any reason the license code we send you doesn't work, DO NOT keep trying it. Let us know immediately.
Most everything works off the list on the left. There are two tabs at the top of the list. One is All Sites and the other is Favorites.
To move sites into your favorites, click on the site in the list, and once it loads in, check off the Favorite App box above the browser window on the right. Click on the Favorites tab and you'll see the site in there. You can add as many sites as you want into your Favotites.
Besides this simple function using the list, you can set one particular site as your Default Page so that it automatically opens when you launch the software. Click on the site you want as your default site, let it load, and then click on the Set Your Default Page button below the list.
Finally, you can Manage Sites and Manage Categories using the buttons below the browser window. The following is how to accomplish this:
To add a site:
- Click on the Manage Sites button at the bottom of the browser window
- Click on the Add button
- Fill in the form with the new site's information
- Select a category from the dropdown list
- Click Save
To Modify a site:
- Click on the Manage Sites button at the bottom of the browser window
- Click on the Modify button
- Make the necessary changes
- Click Save
To Add or Modify a Category:
- Click on the Manage Category button
- To Add a category, click on the Add button, type in your new category. Save
- To Modify a category, click on a category, then "Modify". Change and save.
- Note: Deleting a category will delete all sites within it. Use with caution!
Well even that's pretty simple . . .
Click the Manage Category button at the bottom of the browser window, and add a Home Pages category.
Click on Manage Sites then on Add. Use your Twitter Name for Site Name, add your Twitter Home Page url. You can insert something about that particular home page, like what you use it for. Select your new Home Pages category and save.
Now you can tweet from any of your home pages you want, anytime, and all within TweeterScope!
TweeterScope works a lot like any other browser window. Some sites take a long time to load in, so don't keep clicking the sites. Be patient and let them load on their own. Double clicking more than once won't make them load any faster!
If you happen to click on a site and a script error box pops up, just click "yes" and it'll go away.
This is a javascript error on the site itself (usually an ad box not closed properly) and has nothing to do with the software. It's not a virus or anything nasty like that.
